Casual Game(Posted 2009-04-02)
Making a casual game is my best bet atm. It's not very hard to do and with the demands of my military job. So now I have a flight sim shelved(which has VERY nice physics btw).

I've been playing around with Inkscape and have gotten pretty decent with it. I do have $500 set aside for game graphics but I found out recently that that won't get me very far. So I'm tinkering and making graphics here and there as I go.

The casual game I'm working on is based on an idea I had about 2+ years ago. It's not match 3 (thank God) but it is reminiscent of that genre.

Tentative release date is 1 September.

I also have a basic 2d framework on code.google. It's not much atm but it'll build up over time to hopefully be useful. The cool thing is that it's free. There's just something about nickel and diming fellow developers that is ludicrous to me. But that's me...
