Well. I've made some good progress on the editor.

Stuff done.

* Load track
* Save track
* Export b3d format
* Height adjust (up/down) with smooth interpolated curves
* Bank curves with smooth interpolated curves
* Select track section code (to auto paint textures)

todo:
* define profile layout designer
* autobank curves
* load textures
* compile multiple textures to single texture to keep track single surface.
* fully implement texture paint feature
* add detail texture as well
* import heightmap to auto heighmap the track
* simple track test mode



Getting there...(Posted 2004-06-02)
I started working on a wipeout type clone but quickly ran into problems because I didn't have any good tools to draw tracks.

Searching on the web didn't yield results so I was forced to code my own.

It's taken rather longer then I had hoped but have learnt a lot about Blitz and how to contruct meshes etc...

This is still early but it's at a stage where I can start showing it off :)
