Qbix for the Mac...(Posted 2008-10-24)
Yes, the Mac conversion works, thanks to a little bit of help and support from Brucey and his modules!

Now all I need to do is start marketing the game, improving it and who knows maybe I will even get a couple of sales!

Hmmm! What no downloads?(Posted 2008-10-23)
Well nearly a week and hardly any downloads and no sales!

So just need to figure out a way to get my site onto the fast lane of the internet highway, as at the moment it seems to be stuck in a slow lane!

Anyway early days!

Just cross platformed the game to the Mac and it was an almost painless transition...

0. Get BlitzMax for Mac.
1. Ensure you have the Xcode applications installed (1.0 Gb download).
2. ?win32 everything that refers to windows specific including directX!
3. Build and Run!
4. Learn how to create a .dmg mountable file for distribution.

That's it Qbix now works on the Mac!

So if what most game developers are saying is true...

The Mac market is smaller therefore less competition so more chance to make an impact!

...then fingers crossed and who knows this time next week I might even have a sale!

Well my first game Qbix is complete and up for sale on my website, finally.

Now the hard part begins, can I market it successfully and get some sales moving?
