Drawing the gameplay

Brushes and pencils(Posted 2007-07-06)
A boring white line might seem simple and might not even be worth putting on the screen. Though seeing a group of animated 3d commando's marching a single line through a large battlefield is worth seeing. The question I could raise would be. "Why does drawing game movement make things more interesting?"

A Mousedown check and a point storage container added with a replay feature will lay the ground for great animated
screens.

Pencils used for drawing paths.
Points in/of animated brushes for moving groups of units ontop of the paths.

Draw and play games on paper. Use pencils and markers.
