115 shadow casters so far in this dorm room and I am nowhere near done. Shadows are thanks to FastExtension. The shadows are powered by my dynamic working lights. All lights are dynamic and can be turned on and off/destroyed. Main shadow casting in this room is from the two overhead lights and the player's torchlight. EDIT: The bulk of it is Half-Life 2 and some Left 4 Dead. The only Doom 3 mesh is the door - H-L 2 doesn't appear to have anything similar (I need a tech-style door). The Doom 3 one is a placeholder. The bulk of it is Half-Life 2 and some Left 4 Dead. In honesty, it is meant to be dark - Doom 3/Left 4 Dead style. The whole game-mechanic is based on light and dark; however, it probably is brighter on my screen. |
