I can get a great deal on a Nokia Lumia 900 Windows Phone with our current family cell plan, but was wondering if this is a good enough phone to use as a Dev phone for Monkey Game development. Does anyone have experience with this phone and know if it would be good for development and testing?

I'd wait for Windows 8 phones. The emulator for WP7 is pretty good and more than enough!

If you are in a hurry, it's a great phone - my brother has one. The other benefit of Nokia is the exclusive apps they provide - they are really good and provide a varied list of extra functionality over other manufacturers. As Xaron advised, new ones are coming in late October/easy November - will be announced by Nokia in the next day or so.

And the Nokia Lumia 900 will not be upgraded to WP8. I got mine in june and its a nice phone, but just a few months later they announced that it will not be upgraded to WP8.
