| ~8-10mb WMA files are getting turned into 60-80mb xnb files (XNA binary files). I am assuming this is in fact a WAV file?
I just built my project, without music it takes 1 minute 30 seconds. With music it took 1 hour, 23 minutes, which isn't practical as I cannot avoid content rebuilds (unless I am missing something)
Anyone have any tips?
| Am I right in thinking XNA just reserves channel 32 for music and plays it like it would any other sound?
| If I am right, can we change Monkey to use the "song" object?
| Any word/thoughts on this?
400mb for a game with 5 music tracks really isn't suitable for an Xbox download game, not to mention compiling taking an hour and a half
