My understanding is that it is exactly like PS Vita, without a touch screen, camera, microphone and gyro.

So we should be set with Monkey, "hopefully" it will be exactly like compiling to a PS Vita.

I heard with that whole PS Now thing they got going on (which surprisingly works really well), it'll even be able to play PS3 games on it also.

It's basically a PS Vita plugged into the TV, and therefore uses the same functionality to stream your PS3/PS4 screen to the Vita/TV.
I think this is a great device as it means more people would buy a "Vita", so if you dev for the Vita, it will work out of the box on the PS Now too.
