Monkey in IE8

Monkey Targets Forums/HTML5/Monkey in IE8

I had to add this to the MonkeyGame.html file to get my monkey project to work (mostly) in Internet Explorer 8.

Someone might find it useful.

I think this site still uses that code.

What bugs me is that it even hassles IE9 users even though monkey apps typically run a lot smoother in IE9 than chrome or a chrome frame.

Skid - can you expand on that last comment? It sounds like something important that I should understand for this project.

I think Skid is saying using the exporercanvas bugs IE9 users even though they dont need it, since IE9 can run HTML5 without the canvas.

And that IE9 out performs Chrome/Chrome Frame.

Does this mean that HTML5 Monkey/Mojo can now be run in IE8? So I can use WinXP IE8 to run HTML5 apps?

Only if you use the Chrome Canvas...
