| I think I found an error in HTML5-Audio. When you use the same sound often, it seems that the samples are "added" and the result is a sound of double volume. This "adding" grows upto overdrive clipping . It happens also, if the channels are changing. Channel two seem to know the "ex datas" of channel one. You can test this on the new app "PianoMonkey" in the app section. I would like to get some responses, whether you can hear this effects too. The PianoMonkey uses 10 channels in a ring buffer. If you press f.e. a "g" 20x you can hear, that the sound gets louder and louder, and suddenly it return to normal volume. If you play the piano intensive you get some faults. The "channel window" shows, what happend with the actual used channel. Please check this on your computers and confirm the behavior. |
