Downloading Java need account?

When I try to download the Java SDK it is asking me to first create a free account. I do not remember having to do this before and do not really wish to give them my personal details if I do not have to. Is the SDK available elsewhere? What a pain.

Hmmm, I just tried it and "they" didnt ask for anything:

1. Click on the red download button for JDK SE
2. Click Accept License Agreement
3. Click one of the download links
4. ???
5. Profit :)

Your right, thanks for the link.

If you use the link from the Monkey docs it takes you to an earlier version that does ask you to sign up before download. Give it a try.
