I tried to create a release.

I found the exe, moved it to a new folder. Moved the data folder there too.

Clicking the exe runs the game as expected.

On other computers the App starts and closes, no error.

I supplied the OpenAL installer and the c++ redist, same thing.

Anything more I need to install to make it work?

Seems like it was because the game could not write to disk.

The question is now instead - why did the game not show any error message? Is that a programming error somehow or something specific to this target?

It seems it worked on Windows 7, but not on XP. Anyone know anything specific about XP?

i had an error very similiar to this and it was because the anti virus software on the computer thought the program was a virus.After i gave it permission to run it worked perfectly.

I had a similar problem just getting a GLFW exe to run, so I sent a report along to Avast the AV I use explaining the situation and an update later I no longer had the problem.

Your doing the AV company a favor by showing them a false result because it helps them fine tune their detection systems.

so be sure to alert your AV to the situation so they can check it out.
