was wondering if some one who's got apps on the google play market could explain the sign up process and the costs per app or per year or what ever it might be..

I was under the impression that play didn't have a yearly licence like Apple and MS, but instead simply charged 25$ per app, but I think my understand might be wrong.

As ilovepixel has said, its a one off fee of $25USD.

Not per app or annually, but forever... create a billion games and deploy them to Google Play for just $25 ;)
