Okay, this took me a bit of time to work out how to enable USB debugging on Android 4.2:

1. Go to Apps > Settings
2. Go to About Tablet (or About Phone)
3. Tap "Build number" 7 times
4. ???
5. Profit (you will now have a menu in Settings called Developer options).

Hope this helps anyone looking for the Developer options...

7 times? think it's 4 times on the nexus 4 and 10 times on a nexus 10?

Totally intuitive! And people complain about iOS devices. :-)

LOL! Nexus 7, 4 and 10... maybe they are trying to tell us something ;)

Edit... just did a quick Google, and it looks like it is 7 on all devices :)

Oh and to enable ADB to work correctly in Windows 8 and the Nexus 7, you need to change the way the Nexus 7 connects to your PC: It needs to connect as a camera not a media device...

jeeez. What are they doing with 4.2? I knew about the camera/media device stuff; they changed that with all the new devices that come with jellybean (so you can access your files on both device and computer at the same time without switching manually -- this requires special drivers on the few of us who still use XP), but hiding dev options from plain view? That's a bit unfortunate.

This on top of the GL texture flushy goodness... Well, all in the name of progress, I suppose
