If I try to turn off the hi-color flag (version 52b) all I get are all-white blocks of gfx. Is there any specific graphics format I need to use to get this working?

16 bit seems to be a bad idea at all, at least if you want to publish it for iPhone as well.

Iphone doesn't support 16 bit? I hoped this could save me some video mem and storage space. In fact, if Mark decided to provide support for 8-bit images in the future I'd be a very happy user! Dreams come free :P

Yep. I agree. Just keep it in mind. On the iPhone 8 and 16 bit don't work correctly. Took me some hours to find that "bug" (or feature?)! ;)

Well that's sucky! I guess I could set up iOS builds to use 32-bit images the way it likes'em and up the iPhone requirements vs Android.
