I made a game this week.

You can play it here (flash) http://www.moarlasers.com/dicemaster/index.html

I still have some sound effects to replace before I put it up on Kongregate - so hard to find free (or even paid) authentic sounding NES music. If you know any any one please let me know.

That's a neat looking game! Of course, I'd probably recommend replacing some of the fonts as well, particularly the logo graphic, since it appears to be a font very similar to the one used in Bubble Symphony. That font is already raster, so it's got a bit different copyright treatment towards it than a font you'd rasterize yourself normally would. Although you probably wouldn't get in trouble either way, someone (hint hint) might recognize it! ;)

Now, as for the music and sfx. If you're willing to pay, I'm willing to offer up services, if you're interested. I've worked on several tunes in NES format, some targeting 2a03 and others VRC6, but I prefer to do work in tracker chiptune style, or stick to pseudo-NES limitations within a tracker when possible. Nearly all of the NSF music I've made to date have been covers, so I'm afraid that for original music I'll have to show you my work in tracker chiptune format instead. Have a listen:

Edit: Oh also, I forgot to mention that yes, I can do happier-sounding music, too, haha

Nice game, though for me it is a bit too much frantic and a bit too little strategic.

Supertino(Posted 2013) [#6]
@ Nobuyuki - I am not to bothered about the font, though I will remaster it so its 2x2 instead of 4x4 - I'll have a listen to your music when I get back home on tuesday - out in the caravan this weekend.

@ Gerry - it's actually quite easy just keep cycling the dice 1 by 1 removing all the corresponding dice, don't randomly pick a number and skip others.

Its a nice game, but a little to fast for me.
I lost interest because it was to fast, but that just my opinion.

Supertino(Posted 2013) [#8]
@ TriGaDa - you know what I am not sure you guys are playing it right :p, I can get to around stage 22 before the speeds really starts to become an issue.

Which can output really nice oldschool sound effects. You just have to invest a little time.
