Spotted this on one of the Facebook groups. Looks nicely polished - a good advert for Monkey!

(I have nothing at all to do with the game. I just liked it, and spotted it was written in Monkey.. Hope the author is ok with me mentioning it here)

Yeah I know that guy, he's from Germany as well and even shows his income from his apps here: http://www.indie-story.com/reports/

His page: http://www.eiswuxe.de

I chatted with him and actually he used Corona SDK before and contacted me to ask whether I would prefer Monkey over Corona and well, we all know the answer. lol So now he uses Monkey for his future projects.

He makes quite fortune with his apps and his eBook is quite worth it and his blog too! Very interesting stuff!

I was very surprised one could make a living with kids puzzle apps, but well, he does!

Yup Eiswuxe from germany. He did quite some kids apps too, or?

Xaron(Posted 2013) [#4]
Did you?

Hi guys,

great to see that someone stumbled across my game!

Yes, I totally favor Monkey over Corona since you can do a lot more stuff on your own. With corona, you either stick with the stuff they implemented or go and buy the pro edition. Plus, corona only features android and iOS.

I think one of the most "interesting" platforms for Bloo Kid 2 is the XBOX. Not financially but the game is more or less a classical "console" game that is to be played on a TV screen. (Of course, Android apps run on TVs nowadays, too :P)

Yes, i used Corona around 2010 too. Nothing much has changed since then i guess. In your blog you mention using RevMob. Is that still supported with Corona?

How are you doing your platform calculations for the slopes?

The youtube looks really nice.

My son loved Animal Puzzle, and now my little daughter aged 2 is loving it as well. Nice work :)
