Hi

Heres a link to my latest (first) Monkey game on Android.
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.appytimes.gpcz

I will be releasing this on iOS in the near future.

Have fun

released a new version on the Android Marketplace.

This version fixes the view on large devices (and surprised it actually worked on smaller screens)

This time there are 2 releases, one for phone and one for tablet usng the screen size options in the manifest file. The Marketplace should decide automatically which is best for your device.

I absolutely love the name!

forgot to add...
I'm looking into other Ad networks as we speak

Xaron(Posted 2011) [#8]
Interesting that you have so many impressions already. Hmm...

But the eCPM looks rather poor. I'm curious how the other ad networks will perform. Have you tested iAd already for iPhone?

And how is your CTR?

pantson(Posted 2011) [#9]
not on iPhone.. can't afford a mac to dev on :-(
Unfortunately family comes first before toys

maybe after crimbo someone may have secondhand imac or mini mac going cheap after they upgrade.

I've got inner-active and mobclix working with Monkey in Android, so going to try them on the next release.

BTW my CTR is 0.43%. Can this be improved? or is it up to AdMob?

Xaron(Posted 2011) [#10]
Rich, you don't need a Mac. While I have one I did my app submission on a Hackintosh. Just invest $25 for the Mac OS and install it via VMWare on a Windows PC. Works like a charm!

Regarding the CTR it's up to the users who click at the ads. Mine is 1.14% atm.

pantson(Posted 2011) [#11]
I do have a VM MAC atm but I thought that was a no no.
Especially for uploading to iTunes.

Xaron(Posted 2011) [#12]
No, that's not a problem. I've used it for submission as well.

Just thought I would let you now that Clone Zoo has now been plugged into OpenFeint
http://openfeint.com/android/8838-Clone-Zoo

When I have some time, I will post up another guide on how to plug OpenFeint, Monkey and Android together as I've written a small module (based on the great work by MonkeyPig)
