A little blast from the past:

Click here!

Its just for testing but its fully playable.

You will need an HTML5 compatible browser but there is no sound to worry about as yet.

The collisions are just overlapping rectangles at the moment so you can sometimes get away with a close shave, other times not. Not really sure how to get down to pixel level collisions but something to look into for sure.

Wow, that's great! Playing it brings some loving C64 feeling back :)

Pro work! congrats BigAnd!

Someone should send a link to Matthew Smith, and attract him to the monkey community. Now that would be cool!

Great work, brings back memories playing what was perhaps the first game I seriously tried to complete on my Spectrum :)

richicon(Posted 2012) [#14]
Any plans to release the source to look at?

TeaBoy(Posted 2012) [#15]
@richicon,

if you go to http://www.andynoble.co.uk/games.htm you can see some of his source code for BlitzBasic, not for Monkey though, it's still great reading.
