Mark,

Picked up a copy just a few weeks ago.
Thanks again for a great product at a reasonable price!
I used BlitzMax a few years ago and ended up leaving after the Linux support got a bit shaky.

Monkey X seems to be used in Linux quite easily and I like that.
I'd love first class lambda functions if you ever get around to implementing them. (Maybe not as ugly as C++11's notion of them)
Having stuff like Apply, Map, Reduce etc would be nice. I'd not mind if they were implemented destructively for efficiency either.
Having functions to remove items from lists if they fulfill a lambda function would be very handy. (This way you don't need to extend lists themselves)

I think a lot of people are using object lists (and some using object pools) and some higher level functions that take lambda predicates would be great.
You might take a peek at Scheme or Common Lisp for tried and true ideas about high level container manipulation. You might want data mutating versions as I mentioned before-a better fit for Monkey I think.

Aaaaaanyway Monkey X takes a LOT of pain out of making multimedia programs. Love it so far!
