fresh install of mavericks, cant find modules...?

Monkey Forums/Monkey Programming/fresh install of mavericks, cant find modules...?

Skn3(Posted 2014) [#1]
I just freshly installed Mavericks, xcode, xcode command line tools and monkey 80a.

When I try and compile anything no modules can be found.

I try to run the firepaint example I get:
TRANS monkey compiler V1.72
Parsing...
Modpath error - import=mojo, existing=monkey

Anyone else had this issue?

Did you unzip using the system tools or a thirdparty? I've heard that thirdparty uncompress utilities can cause file permission issues on the Mac

Using the default double-click-to-unzip method without having installed any 3rd party archiver.

Did you edit the configuration file with the Textedit app? If so, that's your problem. Editing the configuration file with the Monkey editor works fine.
