.. with Monkey?
Some native code is needed, I know.

1. Give the user the possibility to select an image from the gallery (on mobiles) and set and render it as background.

2. Give the user the possibility to select some music on his phone and play it as sound with Monkey.

Sure. Everything is possible because you have access to all native stuff.
