I'm going to make a small conference in Barcelona next Thursday and I would love to show some vids of nice looking Monkey games, as I'll be talking about Monkey

Nice is a relative term, but I think I might have something you could use or might be able to record something you could use.

this any use ?

Probably doesn't count as good looking. But they are all Monkey games we wrote - http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL7oHd-a24ydU9JBqMnH44D7kpPwtr_-c9

Ziggy you after separate videos or would a little game montage be any use to you ?

Don't know if any of those would be good enough, but here it is anyway:

Escape from Alcatraz: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FEHisR40GbI
Detetive Carioca 2 (Portuguese only): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LpO_REWfkBc
Deuces Wild Casino Poker (this was initially bmax, and "pure java" on Android, I later ported it to Monkey): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7CoBpZRKHuk

Also, those are not videos, but HTML5 games:
Candy Crazy: http://www.icongames.com.br/cc/
Angry STF (a "joke" on brazilian trials for corrupt politicians - you actually toss the main judge head over the politics): http://www.icongames.com.br/angrystf/
"Em Pauta" (done under 24hrs for a TV show where reporters talk about current topics): http://www.icongames.com.br/empauta/ (You have to survive for 30s so the program can start - press space to start and if you die/win to play again)

I only have a video of one of my games. It is pretty basic as well.. Perhaps to show a simple example. Who knows, may be of some use to you. :)

Thanks to all of you!

Paul - Taiphoz(Posted 2014) [#14]
You should get some one to video your talk so and upload it to youtube, I realize it would be in a foreign language to a lot of us but it would be still cool to see more people talking about monkey on youtube.

Hi,

Just last weekend I made a short video about an interactive picture book framework that I developed in Monkey X (the video is also available in HD at Youtube and Vimeo).

Cheers!
