Hello,

Quick question, what are you guys doing for graphics? I have the code side down, since I have been coding all my life, but graphics as a major weak area for me.

Can you recommend and sites or individuals that can do this sort of stuff?

Doesn't have to be free..

Thanks

You might want to try your luck over at http://www.pixeljoint.com/forum/ posting in their wanted section, in general post around artist forums some will do it for free just to get their art into a game, if you have the funds try the artist portfolio area of Indiegamer http://forums.indiegamer.com/forumdisplay.php?20-Art-Portfolios.

To help point you towards the right direction... what sorts of "graphics" are you looking for? Pixeled, "painterly," abstract, vector......? Title screens, character art, tilesets, concept generation, box art...? Good luck! :)

I do all my own graphics. I appear to have settled into an extremely specific style, which is set at some point between the 8 and 16 bit eras, where there's no limits to sprites and colours, but the art still looks vaguely ASCII-esque!!

People are usually put off by that, so this post probably isn't helpful, at all.
