Was wondering if any of you have had any dealings with them, they contacted me recently seeking ad space in Bit-Invaders and claiming high returns, given that in general anything that sounds good on the internet is often to good to be true I thought I would ask here.

Have they contacted you?, are you using them and if so whats it like.

I don't know them - but would be cautious as well. I've been receiving at least 2-3 emails like that every week, and on each one, they all claim to have the best eCPM on the market :P

I think this is just like 'paid reviews' - just people trying to make money off of you.

A quick Google and I found that a lot of developers are getting these requests by this company. There is a LOT of apprehension about using them. There is a representative by the name of Johnathan that has been answering loads of questions, but I still haven't seen anything tangible for revenues actually paid out.

If you want to see the google search I did, just enter adbuddiz on the Google search. There's quite a few links you can follow to read up on them.

I'd also stay cautious about them. So many rip-offs out on the internet its not funny. Every con knows just what to say to make you buy in to their "product" which never produces anything other than an empty wallet with a very upset wallet owner.

Good luck with this, and if you learn more about them in either direction, please drop a comment about them here :)

Going to be sticking with Admob until I find out more anyway, but yeah if I learn anything new I will share it here.

Hmm sounds like makeup some bullshit crazy TXT SPK name, register the domain and go after devs telling them how great the ROI is!

I'm trying to figure out what their catch is, if their promising 1$ per >> INSTALL << I have to wonder what their real deal is, it's possible their new and offering such a good deal so that they can get into the market fast and expand.

Still very unsure tho, and very reluctant to try it out without talking to some one who has personal experience with them, the last thing I think any of us wants to do is sour our potential customers and gamers by feeding them some virus infested cookie stealing password munching ad system(not that it is any of those things).

Its not worth the risk, small developers couldn't recover from bad press like that.

You've just answered your own question :)

Got contacted them but said no.

Some major devs pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to burst their way up the charts. That may seem insane, but if you have a free to play game which can make 100k+ every day it's in the top ten then... you just have to figure out how to keep it there while making more than you spend. This is the money that all of these ad companies are fighting for. They want big networks so that they can fill ad space that the bigger devs/publishers want to pay for.

Hi Paul,

My name is Clara and I am one of the Account Mangers here at AdBuddiz. I understand your concerns over fraudulent Internet offers.

AdBuddiz is a reliable/trustworthy mobile advertising solution. We’ve been in the industry for over two years and have more than tripled our growth in this time. We provide a successful platform for publishers to monetize the traffic generated by their applications.

First and foremost, we are and have always been fully Google Play compliant.

Our advertisers do pay generally around $1 per install. They do this because they know we have a global publisher network, with quality apps and will be assured of increased installs. They’re willing to pay a little more for this. Further, being Android specialists allows us to get some of the highest paying campaigns.

We do want to grow our network, and to help our publishers achieve success using AdBuddiz, we ensure they receive a comparatively generous portion of each install.

If you have any questions or would like any further information on AdBuddiz you can always contact me directly at clara@...

Cheers,
Clara.

Thanks for your reply, at the moment I have a new project and as of yet have not picked an ad system, I was planning to stick with Admob but I will now consider AdBuddiz, jI still have a lot of development time to go before I really need to make my mind up tho.

Post's like this would not have been possible even a month or two ago, I hope it's a good sign of things to come, now that people can register and communicate with us without being forced to buy the pro version we could see an uptake of non programmers coming along looking for projects of interest.

Anyway, again thanks for the reply.
