Anyone giving Ludum Dare a go this time round? http://www.ludumdare.com/

I am and I've got my "framework" app ready for whatever theme it is.

Travel permitting I will be going to my first meetup as well (in Cambridge), which should be cool.

Skn3(Posted 2012) [#2]
booooo damn I can't make this one! prior engagement SHAME! Next one, you will definitely get a taste for it ;)

benmc(Posted 2012) [#3]
I'll probably be able to muster up about 8 hours between Saturday and Sunday, so it will be another pitiful run, but I'm hoping to enter.

devolonter(Posted 2012) [#4]
I'm in. And I will take part in Jam.

invaderJim(Posted 2012) [#5]
I'm doing the compo using my own framework as well.

Should be another crazy weekend!

therevills(Posted 2012) [#6]
I would, but I still got to finish my Monkey Touch game and this is the finial weekend for that too...

Skn3(Posted 2012) [#7]
Hoes it going raz?

FelipeA(Posted 2012) [#8]
Hoes all the way!

I am in too, but doing art :D

invaderJim(Posted 2012) [#9]
My entry is evolving!

;D

Neuro(Posted 2012) [#10]
Bros before hoes.

CdrJameson(Posted 2012) [#11]
My Monkey Entry:

Help! My Game's Mutating!

Written in vanilla Monkey, except for seeding the random number generator properly via Diddy.

The most ambitious thing I've done with it, and one that's highlighted things I miss that aren't in TED (Go to definition/References, Find whole words only, Ctrl-Home and Ctrl-End changing panes instead of jumping to line ends, no autocomplete etc.)

Still, it's submitted and done in less than 36 hours. In C++ I'd still be tracking down the linker errors...

Good luck other Ludumites!

invaderJim(Posted 2012) [#12]
Finished!

Well, mostly. All that's missing are sounds and music, but this theme wasn't very motivating for me, so I'm just glad I got this far.

I give you.. Mrs. Mr. Dr. Evolutio.

I give you.. Mrs. Mr. Dr. Evolutio.

I can't get the html5 version to run, it seems to crash when checking if joystick[ 0 ] is connected.

Skn3(Posted 2012) [#14]
Always bros before hoes fo shizzle!

invaderJim(Posted 2012) [#15]
@NoOdle

Thanks for the heads up. Should be fixed now.

Goodlookinguy(Posted 2012) [#16]
Turned in a "game" for the jam. Written mostly from scratch aside from using diddy's RealMillisecs function.

Game Link: Hotdoggin

My team was trying to do a sort-of Final Fight game because we've never tried that style. Did not have as much time as expected and instead turned it into something of a joke. We love it though.

therevills(Posted 2012) [#17]
I didnt have time to entry again... but here a couple of my faves entries this time:

What are your faves?

Aymes(Posted 2012) [#18]
I had a go, with my first ever attempt at using Monkey for anything (literally opened it for the first time the night before!) Made use of Diddy too :D

I was trying to make a game based on the evolution of vacuum cleaners, but didn't finish it. The current version is here: http://www.bumpkinbrothers.com/ld/supervacuum/supervacuum.html

Also I did a timelapse for fun: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uy-l59hK8X8

Well done for completing your games guys!
