Targets?

Monkey Archive Forums/Monkey Discussion/Targets?

Are there any other targets in the pipeline? Like Nintendo WII or something?

AdamRedwoods(Posted 2011) [#2]
someone got the ds to work as a target, but unofficial. Nintendo is REALLY tight on their licensing (and pricey), so don't hold your breath for it.

Wii is possible, but only the unofficial 'hacked' or 'flashed' wiis.

If I owned a blackberry I would get monkey to work for that.

Besides 'use the force read the source' is there any information how to write your own targets? I have some ideas, like doing a HaXe target which would give me some features Monkey doesn't have (yet).

I dont know how to create targets for new languages, just platforms that use a language that monkey already translates to
