Just tried uploading a game:

* Created a zip file from html build folder
* Created icon png 160x160
* Created screenshot jpg 640x480

But when I try to submit I get the following error:

*** Please correct the following: ***

•Invalid image type

Could you maybe zip it all together and upload it somewhere so we can take a look?

One thing that might be a problem is if the png file is less than 24-bit -- I seem to recall I had a problem with that.

Hey James - Ive uploaded it to:

Hi Steve, it just uploaded fine for me!

Can you have another go? Make sure the screenshot is in slot 1, as I can't see anything else that might have caused it to fail.

A friend just told me that when viewing the Apps in IE9 release candidate a giant chrome frame prompt covers the game. Once you get rid of that it works well. Is it pos to lose the prompt for IE9?

skid(Posted 2011) [#7]
@therevills: what browser are you using?

Guess: sounds like a mozilla issue...

therevills(Posted 2011) [#8]
Im using IE8 (I know... I know)

Amon(Posted 2011) [#9]
Hey I get the same thing as sknightly. Why does this chrome frame popup?

simonh(Posted 2011) [#10]
It's to provide canvas rendering for IE6, IE7 and IE8. Shouldn't happen with IE9 though - I'll look into it.

FYI - Just successfully uploaded using Chrome.

Last night I was trying to upload a HTML5 version of Pirates TriPeaks Solitaire but all the browsers (I tried FF, Chrome and IE9) failed with sending request to server...

The HTML5 zip is just over 10MB - I left it for over 30 mins and I didnt have any success...

therevills(Posted 2011) [#13]
Ive ripped out the music and now the zip is 3MB and it uploaded fine...

anawiki(Posted 2011) [#14]
It wasn't browser issue, but server issue. Most servers are set up with 8MB upload limit.

simonh(Posted 2011) [#15]
It should be set to 20MB, but obviously the smaller the better.
