I'm kinda in one of those slumps where I don't exactly know what I should do anymore in life. I mean...not a personal thing but more professionally. I have a pretty good job, paid fairly well (but can always get more....), in a senior position where I have younger developers doing a lot of the work for me and I just sort of supervise the dev process, I "telework" more than I should but no one tells me i can't....but i'm just not happy with it. Probably cause i'm just not enjoying it...I did at one point when i was younger but now....its not all about the money or position, it more like...what the hell do I really enjoy doing? Its definitely not my day work...but it pays the bills...quite well.... Yeah...i'm just ranting...

I can totally relate to that. Being solely responsible for a big part of our billing system, they will outsource it soon at my job. I am basically only doing jannitor tasks then. Tell them how to do it. That will be boring as hell. It is well payed, but I still have 15 yrs more till I can retire. I can't see myself doing it like that.

15 years actually sounds nice....i still have over 30 years....holy crap thats like another life time...
