Yeah, the position-locked camera thing feels awful sometimes. It's nice to have some examples of other implementations. |

I'v been using a lot of those methods without really thinking about it at all just doing when feels right, but seeing them all listed and described like this is really cool and actually gives me pause for thought on how i'v been doing things and how I might do them in the future, bookmarked for further reading :) thanks. |

There should be a copy of this article on Gamasutra. I saw it some years ago before taking a whack at SimpleCamera. "Snap Lines" are something that should be the anchor of any hypothetical side-scrolling camera library.... |
