Typekit

| This site has been rather slow to start today. When I first try to reach it there is about a ten second delay. At the bottom of the screen is a message "Waiting for user.typekit.net...". I had never heard of Typekit, apparently it is Adobe's fonts by subscription service. How does that work? Does it "phone home" with every use? If that fails do you have nothing? In this case it didn't fail, just annoyingly slow. It seems like another thing I won't like about the modern world. |
