| Just noticed this when visiting to check current info on Android Dev. http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html#top Any of you guys tried this? If so, how is the new IDE? Is it all worth the near 1gb download? |

| If you just want to test out the IDE ... download "intellij" (android studio is based on the community edition of intellij but adds the SDK and some more indepth integration of the android environment). It is a "java based" IDE ... so this might be a no-go for some of us. Also the IDE has features I miss of ted/maxIDE/... : code refactoring, intellisense, a powerful debugger, vcs integration, deploy management integration, ... bye Ron |
