He just finished the book and is looking at making an eBook and Printed version.

His latest introduction now mentions the potential for an unhealthy infatuation with patterns which makes the code overly complex. Perfect timing for me re: my struggles in this thread,

I think I might buy the hard copy if it is cheap enough. I like real books.
