So this is pretty interesting: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_P9HqHVPeik

I really have nothing more to say. I'm pretty nonplussed.

amazing, but expensive.
i could see this being used for artificial intelligence.

Definitely. I agree with you though, it is expensive. I sometimes wish things like that would go open source and be funded via donations. Alas, this is not the way of the world. It's really too bad, because this is a great educational tool but is really only limited to places that have lots of wealth.

This is incredible. They are including it free on Raspberry Pi. The more I look at this, the more amazed I am. This should be the future. I am going to boot my Pi back up and take a look.

the API stuff looks really neat, the ability to tap into that level of functionality from any other language is cool.

simonh(Posted 2014) [#6]
But can you create a Flappy Birds clone with it?

Paul - Taiphoz(Posted 2014) [#7]
based on that youtube video its probably one line of code [x=flappy] or something .

Goodlookinguy(Posted 2014) [#8]
I don't think it can be used to create games, or if it can, I can't imagine how to go about doing it. That language doesn't really seem fit for games. It's more like an expensive 'app' creator tool with lots of functionality stemming from Wolfram's data cloud.
