Hack/otherwise.
Either mark plopped his password somewhere he shouldn't, or one of his activated apps has become compromised. I've had a few of these messages from a number of different twitter users over the past few days, so I think it's probably app related.

Would be nice if you could trace the exact app that posts tweets, but as easy as that used to be, it no longer seems to be as obvious.

I've been getting a load of emails from this "Dr Oz" in the last few months. Wish he'd sod off.

Yeah me to, whats more annoying is that my spam filter has not quite gotten a handle on it yet so I get the odd one slipping through.

You sure it's not a friend of Dr Mal? :)

Yep, looks like my account was hacked!

Looks like 'I' only sent 2 Dr Oz messages, so not too bad.

The only other twitter app I use is on android, should I kill it?

computercoder(Posted 2013) [#7]
I doubt you need to kill it, Mark. Generally they hack the website, not the applications. Its far easier to go about it that way. I do suggest changing your password though.

get some AV for your android device, I'm using avast on my phone, not had any problems that I am aware of at least.
