TOPIC #1:
I don't know how many have a day job working on web coding, but I occasionally tinker. The editor "Brackets" which is partially backet by Adobe, is VERY impressive! (built on javascript)
http://brackets.io/

Control-E offers a great way to quickly view/edit a defined tag in another file. color pickers on hover. live preview on save. i can say, some people FINALLY get the workflow! i'm hoping for image preview next.
wowowowowow.

(some of this can translate to monkey IDEs! worth a look!)

TOPIC #2:
Native JS Apps!
nice to see another toolkit, seems compact and responsive! Could be an upcoming monkey GUI module....?

Thats interesting. Nice to see stuff progressing like this :)

I just caught this post, neat program. Personally, though, I'm still waiting for Light Table. It's progress is slow but waiting for something like that is worth it.

Also, Brackets needs LESS and Sass support. While having standard CSS support is great and all, after working with LESS or Sass, you won't want to work with regular CSS ever again.

Was just messing with it for a while. Pretty interesting and i like the "live preview" feature (although i'm not much of a CSS guru since thats currently only supported). Still missing one particular feature which keeps me on using Notepad++ for my html/js needs though. Definitely got potential and i'm paying close attention to this one.

Yeah, been using it off and on. I like the "pop-up code miniview" feature. It absolutely has potential.
