| Are there any Android developer costs like with iOS? Specifically for testing on actual devices, I'm hoping to get a Nexus 7 for my birthday but doubt I can afford more than the cost of the tablet! I noticed that Google Play ask for $25 so you can release your games, is that a one off payment or a yearly subscription? Sorry for all these questions, I have been struggling to find information on google! |

| Testing on a device is as easy as plugging in to your computer using a USB cable and letting the Android SDK install the final package to your device. (well, you'll have to enable the USB debug from your device and install the drivers for your computer). No costs other than the actual device. The emulator can't be used to do anything as it is incredibly slow. |
