BlitzMax or Monkey for PC games?

I can probably do everything in Monkey, and then use XNA or GLFW to build the game and bundle the data files, etc, but I'm wondering if there would be any benefits to using BlitzMax instead for PC/Mac/Linux based games?

1) Using directx on windows
2) Already integrated network code
3) Bundeling of resouces into the executable.

One thing comes into my mind when it comes to change of screen resolution and switch between windowed and full screen. Don't know if that is already possible with Monkey?

Not in GLFW, they are working on that. Perhaps in XNA?

This is the main reason behind MonkeyMax, I just don't feel confident in GLFW.

It's also more mature and better tested.
Also because it has been around a while there are lots and lots of modules.

Oh .. and BMax has brucey ;)

I stick to Bmax for desktop games.

Thanks everyone, I'm definitely considering it for my desktop game. Networking and bundled EXE is awesome.
