RIM is offering people money and Playbooks/phones for making games.

See link here.

Well yes, that's for BlackBerry 10. I don't think that Android apps run there?

Tri|Ga|De(Posted 2012) [#3]
But maybe someone can make a Blackberry 10 target?

MikeHart(Posted 2012) [#4]
If you have Adobe Air, could it be a possibility to use the HTML5 target and then use AIR to go the Playbook route?

BB10 runs Android apps. I've submitted 3 games so I qualify for $300 + Another free playbook. I wanted to get to at least 5 but I have to go to another jam in a couple of hours more.

Submitting is not enought I think, they need to accept them too, or?

FelipeA(Posted 2012) [#7]
Yeah, but I've submitted games that I already did for playbook. Anyway they said if the games get rejected we still got until Dic 16th to fix them. I guess it will be really hard not to get approved, unless the game is a static image.

What is the process for getting a monkey game onto Blackberry or Playbook?

FelipeA(Posted 2012) [#9]
What I did was compile for android then sign it, as if you were to publish for google play and then pretty much follow the steps here: https://bdsc.webapps.blackberry.com/android/bpaa/

I did and used some batch files someone posted for signing android apps to make everything faster.

Thanks for the info.
