Has anyone tried to use GameMaker to make a game for iOS or Android?

Is it any good?

Never tried, but it looks too expensive for what it offers.

I've tried it, and found myself rather using Monkey instead.

I own the Studio Version and Beta Tested the iOS/Android addons. It's a damn fine solution; it's no Monkey though. :)

I found out that in order to make iOS games you must send the game to yoyogames and they will submit it to Apple. Thats not very handy.

Nope, you got the wrong information. You will create them yourself.

I saw that on their forum, but now I can se on their homepage that there is an iOS export module.
