Can anyone recommend a solution for rendering rotated 3D models to textures, each rotation receiving its own place on a spritesheet?

You something like SpriteMe?

Spriteme looks pretty good and I might end up using it but I was looking for something like a Blender plugin. One reason why is because I want it to be able to make procedural models and render them out in batch mode.

I may end up writing something myself with OpenGL.

Or how about Model-2-Sprite?

if anyone is interested in messing about with SpriteMe you can download an early version from the bottom of the first post here: http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=186213&b=8
