Pretty much everything under the sun is patented, and then some. It's impossible to write more than three lines of code and not violate half a dozen patents in the process. |

This patent seems to be for a specific kind of LL which has several points to other nodes. Looking at the drawings, it doesn't seem to be the usual "normal" LL. |
