Hey, that's where I live. I can't remember writing Rocket Pack though, maybe I was too drunk. But nice to know that someone likes it though! Maybe I wrote it with Monkey, can't remember :)

A little *personal* consideration about the Monkey demo.
It comes with *HTML5* only output, right?
Well, considering that every single PC, netbook, notebook, console, smartphone, pad and TV, fridge... can handle HTML/Js (and in future it will be only grew up...) the 'demo' is a counter-move from a financial poin of view for BRL!
I just saw that a demo running from FF3 to FF4 is faster about 45%, then if you add WebGL supports (and there someone already working on it)... you're done!

I think BRL should re-think the monkey demo...

Cheers

degac, if I understand what you're saying properly; then yes, the demo version of Monkey outputs HTML5, but as stated on the relevant web pages (and I assume in the downloaded package notes), this is only for "non-commercial" purposes. So, as I understand it, this means that if you want to make money out of your creations, you'll need to buy the licensed version.

html 5 is the best demo compiler as it doesn't require the user (who may be a complete programming beginner) to have to worry about other SDK's/Setting up the environment etc.
