EDIT: Forget this, as luck would have it I happened to do a clean boot and thought to give this another look while less services were running... no crash any more :) If I nail down which service is causing the problem I'll post back.

This is with version 85e. Works as expected under Windows 8, crashes out under 7. Small example:
