Monkey Forums/Monkey Bug Reports/TED:Overwriting existing file when creating a new

With version 78g and on Windows 7, TED overwrites an existing file, if you give a new file the same name as an existing one. This should be prevented or at least the user should be warned.

I'm getting a warning here - 'test.monkey already exists. Do you want to replace it?'.

This happens whether I click on an existing file in the new file requester, or type it into the file requester text field manually.

[edit]OK, it happens if I use right-click->new file file in the project tree - is this what you mean?[/edit]

Yes, that is what I did. I right-clicked inside the projects list (create new file). For the name, I used a different casing. Maybe that has also an effect.
