| Still learning Monkey X... I would like to know if somebody try it with windows visual studio 2013 (desktop edition) for making windows desktop target... does it work?!!? or if i have no choice to take the 2010 edition?? And does the documentation been done in pdf file format?!?! (would like to print a part of it) Thank you very much! Pat |

| You can use MinGW instead of using Visual Studio if you want to avoid the Visual Studio 2010 install. If you're using Jungle Ide, you could just go to Monkey SDKs / Install Windows Desktop Tools, and it'll install MinGW for you (and OpenAL if required). It'll also configure Monkey to work properly with the MinGW compiler for Windows. |
