Ok so Ive been working on an oldschool style platform game for a while and here is a demo of the first area and a few screenshots.
Game is programmed in Blitz3D.
All programming and graphics are done by me
Music done by Lotusware
Screen Distortion code by jfk of csp

theres still a few bugs and collision problems but the first 8 levels and boss are here and fully playable.

hey grindalf

game played well and was fun :)

as you said, a few bugs... I found the worm sprite in the opening scene was jittering a bit...

also, once the platforms disappeared and only the geometric background was visible, and the worm wouldn't move... but I couldn't make it happen again :(

but maybe you are already aware of these things!

cheers :)

Thanks for trying it guys
Ive had that same bug(with the platforms disapearing) but only once. not a clue what is doing it.
I will have a look into the opening scene thing(I think I have an idea what that could be)
Ive been working on the next area hopefully have some pics up soon :)

Great Graphics! Awesome. My artwork isn't so good.

great work. Level 3 is disgustingly hard! LOL!

I love that the sea anemones have eyes! That is so cute! (Gosh, I sound like a girl!)

I also have a playable download for my PSEUDO3D road...finally!

How about a wiggly sound when the worm moves?

grindalf(Posted 2013) [#8]
Oooh that could be good, or the most anoying thing ever I guess it will depend on how intrusive the sound is
