Recently, I've decided to name the 2.00th version of Candy to the Rescue II : Save Candy.

In this game, the goal was to save Candy and 50 new animals. I decided to make the game more difficult by adding dangers and make the experience agreable by making more details.

Trees will be redisigned; more skies and terrain will maybe get more real.

Candy World V: Candy to the Rescue v1.45 are online since the 14th June 2011.
I've also worked and released Lights of Dreams II: Waves of Aquarya v0.97.

Noopy will have to save Candy. New dangers will awaits the dog.
-Flames
-Steams
-Ground holes
-Cages
-Clever ennemies

Hope you'll appreciate my new games.

Perhaps you should make something new:
A different type of game.
A game without Candy, her friends, or Angels.
A game that is not connected with your previous games.

Sometimes the best way to learn and improve is by testing yourself, and the best way to test yourself is to try something new!

You might enjoy the experience, too!

Also:

Brands become boring over time.
Sometimes it's a good idea to "rest" a brand for a good while and do something different.

You could bring back your old "Lights of Dreams" and "Candy" brands when the fans are crying out for their return. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, as they say.

That would have to be one intense absence...

I'm presently in pause for finding ideas for making new games.

Next scenario for my Candy to the Rescue II : Save Candy will be to save Candy from her kidnaper.
50 new cages and maybe more way to open them (with a saw or by hitting them).

We would be more near from a solid game by augmenting the quality of current games.
The next option will be to continue Candy Racing Cup : The Lillians Rally.

Xylvan, this forum is for when you actually have something to show. Just FYI.

I've published version 1.45 of Candy World V : Candy to the Rescue.
It is probably the last demo of Candy World V. Candy to the Rescue just started.

I'll work from Monday, 20th June 2011 to until I finish all my products.

Try the demo if you want to see what Candy World VI or Candy to the Rescue II will be able to do.

The title seems contradictory:

"Candy to the rescue" = Candy is doing the saving here
"Save Candy" = Candy needs to be saved

Xilvan(Posted 2011) [#9]
Candy to the Rescue II: Path of Freedom will maybe be the official name for my game.

I want to see if the title is good enough for the blitz communauty
and dont interfere with any games published currently.

I'll work on the begining cinematic next week.

Hi Xylvan, I wanted to ask you: do you work full-time? if so, how do you harmonize your working time with your hobby development time?

Xilvan(Posted 2011) [#11]
Before some month, my only work was to make games... But because it dont sell, I decided to make my games for free.

I got to find a real work soon...

Its a pity you didn't take any advice from all those people who told you years ago that they wouldn't sell.

"AAAAAAAARRRRGHHHHH!!! And they banned Puki."

They banned Puki??!!
- the only rational being in these forums!

I personally think these games have a crazy charm to them, with a few artists they'd probably do fine.

Who was John Galt?(Posted 2011) [#15]
This guy is a few sandwiches short.

This guy is a few sandwiches short.

lol. I try to be fair and constructive, but the guy has no connection between ears and brain. Some VERY fair and constructive comments have been made to how the game can be improved. Next sentence from Xylvan, COMPLETELY ignored advice!! Please don't post again Xylvan unless you learn to actually listen.

Hmmm, exactly.

I would redo the game to reference drugs instead of candy, then it might be interesting.

Kinda like mafia wars, because candy wars was blah.

I like some of his artwork mind, and would actually buy a few bits... Maybe he's better off putting Candy down and start making/flogging 3D models?

Even though I dont really like to knock him/her because he/she is obviously dedicated to his/her game (And lets face it, there's not many that would go on and on and on with the same game)... I do feel like he/she is, pardon the pun... Barking up the wrong tree.

The first demo v0.47 of Candy to the Rescue II : Candy's Last Hero
are launched on the website today, 1st July 2011.

Hope you'll appreciate this effort of making a new game.

xlsior(Posted 2011) [#21]
"Candy's last Hero" makes no sense either -- the dog owns a hero now?

Nice_But_Dim(Posted 2011) [#22]
Carry on Xyivan you have probably done more in Blitz3D than most of the people in this forum.

Nice_But_Dim(Posted 2011) [#23]
@17
your the sensible one i presume.

Ross C(Posted 2011) [#24]
@Travis,

I could have released alot of stuff I've done in blitz. No-one would have bought it, or found it fun to play, so I didn't. I can see what works, and what doesn't, and what isn't fun to play. I think Xylvan needs to have a good long look at his games. If he's fine releasing them, just for fun, fair enough. It just seems he makes alot of new games, but they are exactly the same as the last version. I do like some of his static 3d model though.

Good news for everyones.

Version 0.87 is on its way for publication. I've made new content.

I also added a new story for the game, where the challenge is to save all animals.
Three Candy have been kidnapped by a blue shadow.
Save them by opening their cages.

289 cages, 239 news for the moment, are available in this demo.
Resolve this new quest by killing all monsters. Use flair to points
ennemies (3).

Dont forget to get magical potions
and save Candy.

I've understood to continue to progress in the actuals projects and after
inventing new ones more attractive for most
of the developers in the forum.

New dangers and new trees
will be added soon...

Edit : July 13, 2011
Hi everyone,

Version 0.87 is finally out.
It is actually a new version with all the 289 cages to open.
I've manage to fix some problems with the two versions of the
stories (french and english).

On bottom, watch my trailer.
