I have recreated a 1970s LAB experiment , where Robots with only a few bytes of Memory find there way out of a Maze.

The Robots are Programable via a screen of checkboxes representing 7bytes per Robot, the Maze is also user definable.

Please excuse my link I could only get a free online file server with a wait timer before download.

new link v1 had a mistake

If anybody can host my file please let me know?

Mediafire ( http://www.mediafire.com/ ) may be a better place to host your file from.

This is neat, but no matter what combination of rules I give my robots, they just mill around in circles and never get anywhere near the exit. Can you provide a sample of a ruleset that actually does something useful?

I apolagise for v1, it had a mistake in it that switched off commands sorry. I didnt realise untill yesterday.

Improvements:

1) The Robots Programed Commands Now Work, sorry mistake in v1.
2) All Robots now have sensers for Toxic locations, other Robots & Escape Locations
3) The Program now is a tournament Simulation, testing Robots against the others or as a timed event
4) Robots can now be saved individualy, so you can chalenge your opponants in there Map/Maze.
5) Large Transparency Map/Mazes enabled for a graphicaly pleasing Map/Maze
6) Pause,Pickup,Reset
7) reloads setup each cycle of the tournament, for auto simulation without input
8) Robot Minds now have a much bigger Memory
9) a lot of fixes, it isnt anything as primative as old version.
