This is superb, will play again once I'm hooked up to a worthy sound system. |

Looks brilliant! If this is BlitzMax, any chance of a MacOs build? |
| ||
>Looks brilliant! If this is BlitzMax, any chance of a MacOs build? Yes - this is BM- game. MacOs version is comin' too... |
| ||
Thanks, John. |

Verson 1.01 now available, with some adjustments to some jumppoints. Linux & Mac versions coming soon too. Regards, -jc |

Considering It's a one man project , you did a hell of a Job. Nice rendering , Musics are also great. |

Considering It's a one man project , you did a hell of a Job. Nice rendering , Musics are also great. Thanks. The next episode is now under construction (with some new music tracks too) and ends this first part. So, the last 24 jumppoints are quite difficult I think. -jc Last edited 2010 |

>So, the last 24 jumppoints are quite difficult I think. What do ya think now (jumppoints 1-25)? Made some adjustments to some jumppoints in version 1.01. Too difficult or too easy? -jc Last edited 2010 |

Freeware version 1.02 is now available with some new music and jump points. |

So, why are you not selling this game instead of giving it away? |
| ||
>So, why are you not selling this game instead of giving it away? I like the basic idea of freeware. |

I'm curious, is all the rendering in your game done by the Max2d module, or are you using OpenGL directly? Also, game looks great, an impressive piece of work. |
| ||
>is all the rendering in your game done by the Max2d module Yes. All the rendering is done using the max2d module. The engine is fully homegrown including particles, anim fonts, dialogs, music and the alien base type structures. I had some difficulties to do those font animations at first - but I invented a simple method to do it. And the particle engine also includes some optimized methods; especially the bullet trails and some heavy particle explotions. -jc Last edited 2011 |

Love the style, give me a lot of inspiration for a first game. |

Looks good I may have to try it sometime....however the name of the game is a little off putting "pollux" - makes me think of a whole range of biological nasties. But still might have a look at it after work some time. |
| ||
Played it a bit tonight. Pretty. Well done. I'm not very good at it. Took me a few moments to work out that no it's not that the mouse isn't rendering there simply is no mouse cursor - that was a bit of a shock when I couldn't navigate the menu for a moment. You've done well with this. |

I tried first time running Start Opus I with win8.1. Grafix scaling goes totally wrong. Same problem with all Blizmax samples. I'm using BM version 1.30. Anybody know what's wrong? >> OK. BM 1.50 fixes the issue:) |
| ||
..very nice graphics..i like music as well..congrats !.. |
| ||
Anybody have issues with win8.x? In my computer there was some problems with scalin' (when used >100% fonts) and the sound was distorted. Win 8.x optimized version is comin' soon. |
